Holy Archangel Raphael, standing so close to the throne of God and offering Him our prayers, I venerate you as God’s special Friend and Messenger. I choose you as my Patron and wish to love and obey you as young Tobias did. I consecrate to you my body and soul, all my work, and my whole life. I want you to be my Guide and Counsellor in all the dangerous and difficult problems and decisions of my life.
Remember, dearest Saint Raphael, that the grace of God preserved you with the good angels in heaven when the proud ones were cast into hell. I entreat you, therefore, to help me in my struggle against the world, the flesh, and the devil. Defend me from all dangers and every occasion of sin. Direct me always in the way of peace, safety, and salvation. Offer my prayers to God as you offered those of Tobias, so that through your intercession I may obtain the graces necessary for the salvation of my soul. Remember me and always entreat for me before the Face of the Son of God. Help me to love and serve my God faithfully, to die in His grace, and finally to merit to join you in seeing and praising God forever in heaven. Amen.
St. Raphael is the patron saint of happy meetings. Just as he led Tobias to Sarah, many singles ask for his intercession to help them find a spouse.

O God, send the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, & Raphael to our assistance. May they who stand forever praising You at Your throne present our humble petitions before You. May they be our safeguard in times of trouble and temptation. May they defend our country from attack. May they tirelessly work to end abortion and all the sins against life in the world. May these powerful angels help to assure the leaders of our country follow You first in all things. And may they help to strengthen our Holy Catholic Church and draw others to this vessel of the Way and the Truth and the Life. We ask this through Christ our Lord in unity with You and the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen.
Glorious Archangel St. Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners. I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the “medicine of God,” I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body. I especially ask of you the favor (name your request) and the great grace of purity to prepare me to be the temple of the Holy Ghost. Amen.
Saint Raphael the Archangel, since God entrusted the young Tobias to your special care, it is also His will that I invoke you as my companion through life. I wish to honor you as I honor my Guardian Angel.
Noble and mighty Messenger of God, l beg you to guard and protect me. Conduct me on the way of life as you accompanied young Tobias on his long and dangerous journey. Warn me against every occasion of sin and fill my soul with wholesome thoughts and loving encouragement to practice virtue. Intercede for me that I may share in your burning zeal in God’s service and devoted love for His Divine will.
You know the value of my soul in the eyes of God. Never let me forget that it was redeemed by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. Let no stain of sin disfigure the beauty of my soul or rob me of my dignity as a child of God.
Forgive me, my Angel Friend, for so often disregarding your advice and inspirations. In the future I earnestly want to obey you faithfully, as I wish to obey my Guardian Angel who ever stands at my side inspiring me to do good and to avoid evil. I love you both sincerely, and I am deeply grateful for your constant care of me.
Loving Archangel Raphael, God sent you to the old Tobias and Sara to heal and console them. The Lord chose you to be a herald of blessings, a guide to His friends, a strong helper in time of need, a healer of the sick, and a conqueror of evil. May your intercession with our King and Savior help me to become a worthy messenger of His word by my good example, and faithfully serve Him as a healer of souls through my prayers and sacrifices for the salvation of souls.
My dear Patron, Saint Raphael, you told Tobias and Sara: “Bless the God of heaven, give glory to Him in the sight of all that live because He has shown His mercy to you” (Tob. 12, 6). Help me to thank Him for all He has done for my soul and body through my Guardian Angel and through you. May my whole life be a continual expression of thanks for the mercy of God toward me. Help me to follow your guidance as young Tobias did so that I may enjoy your protection on this dangerous journey through life and reach my eternal home in heaven, there to praise the mercy of God toward me in union with you and all the other Angels and Saints forever. Amen.
